- The Online Portal is launched under the SCLSC Regulations, 1996
- No fees shall be charged for any services rendered by SCLSC at any stage.
- An applicant who desires to apply for legal aid in Supreme Court of India can make a request through this Portal.
- The fields marked * are mandatory.
- Only one application will be entertained for one cause of action/case to be filed before the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
- If an applicant wishes to interact online then he/she can click on VC Link.
- If applicant wishes to interact in Hindi or English then the applicant may connect directly to SCLSC. If applicant wishes to interact in any other language, then the applicant may approach the respective HCLSC.
- The applicant has to upload all the relevant documents. In case the documents are incomplete the applicant will be given extension of time to submit all the required document. In case of failure to furnish documents thereafter the application shall be closed.
- The applicant should submit his/her mobile number, Aadhar Card and email address to receive SMS alerts and email. In case the applicant fails to provide this information, he/she will not receive SMS and email alerts.
- All the information given by the applicant must be true. If at any stage the information is found to be not true, the applicant shall be liable for action.
- SCLSC will not be responsible for any delay caused due to lack of or failure of connectivity at the end of the Applicant.
- Application must be filed during working hours to be considered on the same day. If the application is filed after working hours, the application will be considered on the next working day.
The documents must be uploaded in Black & White Only.
